Tandoor Char House is now open in River North and offers the bold flavors and plenty of heat that you’ve been missing. This new restaurant comes to us from the Sardharias, two brothers of Pakistani and Indian descent. They take the best flavors of their cultures and infuse them into one incredible menu.
Choose from tamarind wings, vegetarian samosas, or shrimp pakora to start, each served with a housemade cilantro chutney that you’re going to want to put on everything. Then it’s onto tandoor entrees, each marinated for 24 hours, or Karhai signatures with plenty of savory sauce plus rice and raita on the side. Tandoor Char House also calls on the brothers’ American upbringing to add fusion dishes to the menu. Rib eye steak, chicken fajitas, and the tandoor char burger all reimagine Chef Faraz’s favorite dishes.
